Today, a few coworkers and I decided to go out for lunch in the nearby city of Draper, Utah. We have numerous restaurants and places to eat surround but there are few favorites that we often visit. A few of my favorites are Zupas, SLAB Pizza, and JDawgs but today I think I found a new favorite. It's called, Serving Time Cafe.
Serving Time Cafe is located in a small building as part of the Utah Department of Corrections - yes, Utah Department of Corrections. It is ran by inmates in the Draper prison and allows them to serve society while building valuable skills applicable after their sentence. While that could be daunting, the atmosphere, food, and employees are inviting and great.
I would highly recommend anyone in the Salt Lake or Utah County to go and visit Serving Time Cafe. Their prices are very reasonable. Their burgers are big and good. Their soft cookies are delicious. Take a trip and let me know your thoughts!
